This is the outside of Ellis Island. Gosia took me here as a suprise and I was totally pleased. I somehow picture it not as kept up back then as it is now.

This is the first of many pictures I had taken of me in New York. This is the most I've ever have had my picture taken on any trip. This is the front of the museum. There were many people taking their picture here, so I guess I'm not a pioneer having done this.

It's taller in person. When your walking you just turn the corner, look up and it's there in all it's glory.

$12.50 later I was standing on the top of the Empire State Building. The sun was setting, so it added to the feeling of being up there.

It's a heck of a view.

Me standing at the top. The wind was blowing and my hair messed up pretty bad.

This is Manhattan from the ferry ride over to the Statue of Liberty. It was overwhelming watching the background move with the foreground.

Me standing behind the statue of libery's back...huh, huh, huh. I'm near her butt.....that's cool.

The front of the statue of liberty. I couldn't go to top because of September 11, 2001. It seems the Statue of Liberty is considered a target to terrorists.

This was taken of me on the boat pier waiting to go back to New Jersey.
