I tried to take pics without tipping over the canoe. It was very quiet while cruising down the river. Paola actually knew how to paddle. I didn't. By the time our little trip was over. I knew how to paddle too.
Another Andsel Adams shot. Except mine pic in color and I was trying not to tip over the boat.
Can you find the bird? I didn't see any alligators. I was told not to worry about it because the alligators around there are only a couple of feet long. That's still big enough to take off a hand of foot.
I saw the horse and it "Nay-ed" at me. I call him Mr. Ed.
Another nature shot. I love the spanish moss and palm trees that are in this part of the country.
Another nature shot. Once again the sun is very bright. So, whatever I vibrance I saw in person is complete lost in the picture.
Me back on shore. We paddled for an hour and my arms weren't even tired. Working out semi-often does pay off!
Can't stop taking pictures of the trees.
Fan boats returning to the shore.
Okeefenokee type trees. I think they look cool.
Okay, I went a little crazy with the nature shots. I'm such a softie for mother earth.
This is us rowing back to the shore. We had to drag the boat into the water and put it back by ourselves. I didn't even have on a life jacket. I'm such a crazy person who lives on the edge.
I'm sitting on a fan boat. After pulling our canoe out of the water. The canoe was $7 bucks an hour and the fan boats were $30 an hour.
Me sitting on our canoe. It was #13 and I didn't have on a life jacket. Good thing I'm not supersticious. I had fun on my little vacation. Paola and her family were wonderful and it was cool to see Mike. Can't wait to get back down there to hang out with everyone again.
