hooters

Where do two life-long friends go to catch up when they haven't seen each other in over 8 years? Hooters! I had fun. The girl on my left needs to be my girlfriend. She just doesn't know it yet.

planes are cool

I didn't think B-52's were that huge. This is by the Orlando international airport. Mike took me here as part of the 50 cent tour. There was a couple hanging around while we were there getting waaay to friendly for my tastes. It bugged me for two reasons...

First, it's an airplane memorial. Why would you take a girl to a B52 to make out and eventually get laid? We were twenty-minutes of from the ocean!! Go be romantic on the beach!

Second, they were really ugly. I don't want to see ugly people getting it on. Rent a room. Hide your ugliness from the world and get a room at the motel 6 or something. They erased any happy thoughts I had in my head about hanging around at Hooters.

mike

Mike hanging out with me at the plane memorial. No, he isn't squinting because he dropped a stinky. The sun was really bright and the genious didn't bring his shades with him. woo hoo....

B52 wideshot

What can I say? It's a huge plane.

me...

Da bomb standing in front of da bomber...okay, that sucked. I'm running out of witty things to say.

plane tail

I couldn't believe how large the tail of the plane is. Our tax dollars at work.

me at the beach

The sun setting at Coco Beach, Florida. I bought the prerequisite postcards and other useless trinkets to fill up my cubicle and take up space. Ron Jon's Surf Shop...it's a pretty cool place.

pitch a tent

I could live right on the beach. It was pretty chilly while I was down there. I brought my beach towel, sandals and Jimmy Buffett CD, but it was still cold. The last day I was in Florida the weather was great. Go figure.

the pier

The Coco Beach Pier People were catching some pretty big fish off the end of the pier. Mike told me this is also a great place to watch the shuttle take off. Cape Canaveral is next to the beach. Next time I'm down there I plan to take a tour.

me on the pier

Me standing on the end of the pier. The three small stuctures you see waaaaaaaayyy off in the distance behind my left shoulder are the facilities used by NASA to put the launch the space shuttle--the building to physically put the shuttle upright and attach it to the hydrogen tanks as well as the launch pad for the space shuttle. So I've been told.

going to the bahamas

The Disney ship taking off for the Bahamas is behind me. I wish I were on the boat.

orange groves

I needed to do the touristy thing and buy some oranges. Next time, I'm bringing a cooler to get some real OJ instead of the processed stuff we get in grocery stores. I forgot what real OJ looked like.

oj stand

Picture of the outside of the orange stand. To bad I can't get Orange Juice up here in the ATL like this!
