Me with a Royal Guard from Star Wars. People costumes were actually really good at this con. As opposed to some of the hokey costumes I've seen over the years. A guy who buys a Klingon skull cap with the long hair, smacks it on his head and shows up a con does not a good costume make.

I'm striking a pose with the brother of the guy who originally wrote the book The Wizard of Oz. Auntie Em's real life nephew. Yes, everyone who is anyone shows up at these things to sell their wares. He was really a nice guy and it was good to see he is still alive.
Yes, he is a little short to be a storm trooper. I'd like to think he is playing the part of Luke when he stole a stormtrooper outfit to save Princess Leah on the Deathstar in the first Star Wars movie.

People were taking pictures of this guy like it was going out of style. If I dressed up it would be like this. It's nothing but a chainsaw, a bunch of boxes and some fake blood. He gets attention, while he lays there and takes a nap. Low maintenance--and I could sleep.
She was a goth, godzilla punker girl who was kind enough to pose with me. She was wearing a Godzilla tail that was about four feet long and hanging off of her back (that you can't see in this pic).
